New FloLogic Connect Gateway
The next generation FloLogic Gateway Connect Kit, adds features like notifications and control to your FloLogic valve. This new upgraded version of their gateway, is comprised of two modules - one that connects to the valve, and another that plugs into an available port in your modem, router or network switch. Then the two pieces use a wireless signal to communicate so you don't need to physically run a wire all the way from your modem/router to your valve.
The original ConnectWiFi module used the existing WiFI network to communicate. The next generation kit doesn't use WiFi, so you don't need to worry about setting it up all over again if you change your WiFi network name or network password.
In addition to allowing for Internet connectivity, the new Gateway Connect module has more local functionality compared to the original module, for the convenience of occupants who do not have app access. Plus the new kit will support new devices that are planned for future release by FloLogic.
